Confirmation of your participation

You have successfully participated in and completed the "Apache Kafka for Operators (Kubernetes Edition)" course from January, 21 - 22, 2026.

Day 1: Operating Kafka

Based on the knowledge from our basic training course, we will deepen our knowledge in the area of Kafka operation and learn how to set up and operate a Kafka environment for productive operation.

Focus

  • Monitoring & Logging: Which metrics are important and what to look out for in the logs?
  • Installing & running Kafka: How do we set up Kafka correctly and how do we run it afterwards?
  • Sizing & Configuration:** Which settings are important and how large should we scale our cluster?

Day 2: "What could possibly go wrong?"

Things go wrong from time to time. That's normal. To prevent this from having catastrophic consequences in your company, we learn in a safe practice environment when problems can occur with Kafka and how to deal with them in order to resolve them as quickly and thoroughly as possible.

Focus

Disaster Recovery & Multi-DC: What to do in an emergency? And how do we distribute Kafka across several data centres? Load Balancing: How do we guarantee an even load distribution?

  • Security & Networking:** How do we secure our Kafka clusters and what do we need to look out for on the network side?

Day 3: Kafka in production

On the third day of our training course, we will learn about tools that make our lives easier when using Apache Kafka and ensure that we can sleep soundly at night again. Today is also all about best practices in the corporate use of Apache Kafka. We will also learn how to automate the operation and management of Kafka.

Focus

Automation & processes: How do we make life easier for ourselves and our developers? ** Reference architecture: What do we need for a successful use of Kafka? And what not?

  • Best Practices & Conventions: What should we pay attention to early on so that we can sleep soundly later?
